A Story Born from Care and Sport

Hello there, Gardien du Mont. Welcome behind the scenes of the adventure.

My name is Arthur. I'm an Osteopath, an athlete, and for a long time I searched for a product I'd really want to use in my sports routine.

When my training intensified, I started accumulating tension, muscle pain, and joint discomfort. And in my practice, I found exactly the same needs in many patients, especially athletes.

The problem was that I couldn't find the right product: unpleasant texture, not very practical to use, not a clean enough experience... and often too high a price for my student budget.

So I decided to create something else: a cooling massage gel that was pleasant, practical, clean, and designed to become a natural part of your routine. Before sport for better performance, after sport for better recovery.

I tested, adjusted, started over. First for myself, then for my patients. And that's how Baume du Mont was born.

2019

The first drops of an idea

I was in my 4th year of osteopathy when I started mixing essential oils in a corner of the clinic.

At that time, I was playing more and more sports, significantly increasing my training volume, and I began to experience what many athletes know well: tension, muscle discomfort, joint discomfort.

My very first test?
An ultra-mentholated spray that I applied to myself... and to a few willing guinea pig friends.

The result was crude, not yet very elegant, but the idea was there: to create a real cold reflex in a sports routine.

2020

Transition to cream format

The spray was interesting... but not very practical.

So I started working on a cream texture, easier to apply, more comfortable to use, and above all more suitable for regular use, both at home and in the clinic.

Little by little, the formula improved. With each test, each feedback, each patient, I adjusted. The product began to take a real direction: a cold care product designed to be naturally integrated before or after exercise.

2024

The Family Turning Point

It was in the maternity ward, between two feedings and three power naps, that everything became clear. We had just welcomed our little one, we were exhausted... and overexcited.

And in the midst of this timeless interlude, we said to ourselves: "Okay, this balm, are we finally going to launch it?"
Patients are already asking for it. The formula is ready. Stable. Effective.

So we decided to truly go for it: have our own cooling massage gel manufactured in a lab.
We approved a clean and serious formula, compliant with European standards, with all the necessary certificates. A carefully developed cosmetic formula, compliant with European regulations and supported by the required safety assessments.

2025

Baume du Mont is born

The year we've been waiting for. After years of testing, trials, adjustments, and field use, Baume du Mont is finally here.

A cooling effect massage gel designed for those who want to integrate a true preparation and recovery routine into the daily lives of athletes and active individuals.

A pleasant, practical, and clean-to-use formula, developed with high standards and manufactured with the seriousness such a project deserves.

More than a balm, it's the product I wish I had found sooner.

Today, there are two of us behind Baume du Mont. Tomorrow, perhaps three.

Our daughter sees us imagining, creating, testing, packaging. She doesn't understand everything yet, but she's already part of the story.

It's our family adventure.
